Are you using Elastic Email to deliver your email messages in wordpress? Elastic email is an efficient and a very affordable email delivery solution to your email needs. And when used to gether with fluent crm, the result is impressive.
However, as of this date, elastic email causes a certain inconvenience with this setup, particularly when your subdomain, for eample “tracking.(mydomain).com” does not have a valid SSL certificate.
Let’s make it more clear. When a user clicks on an unsubcribe link on the footer of an email delivered by elastic email usign fluentcrm, there is a subdomain added – tracking.(mydomain).com – to track their activity. However, if this subdomain does not have SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certification, modern web browsers like Chrome may block it for security reasons.
To address this issue, you can take the following steps:
- Review DNS Settings: Check your DNS settings to ensure that each of your existing (or future) subdomain is correctly configured and has SSL enabled. For example, if you are hosting on cloudways, it has the facility of wild card SSL certification, which means that each of your present or future subdomain will have the SSL enabled. If you are not that tech savvy, You may need to contact your DNS provider or web hosting service for assistance with this. Or you can also contact us for the setup.
- Configure Elastic Email: Since you’re using Elastic Email to send emails, you can disable tracking in Elastic Email settings. Simply check Elastic Email’s documentation or contact their support team to find out how to disable tracking.
